ELEVEN-TIMES champion jockey Pat Eddery saddled his first winner since joining the training ranks when Visionist landed the Play Blackjack At intercasino.co.uk Handicap at Kempton under Darryll Holland.
The 9-1 chance hit the front a furlong out and was never going to be caught, going on to deny Presumptive by two-and-a-half lengths.
Eddery, the rider of such turf luminaries as Dancing Brave and El Gran Senor, said: 'That was very good, excellent, and it's never easy when you take up a new profession.
'That's my sixth runner and I have 40 horses for owners like Khalid Abdullah, John Magnier, Con Wilson, Derrick Smith and Raymond Tooth.'
